Yadollah Razaghi

Yadollah Razaghi is a distinguished Iranian architect and researcher, widely recognized for his contributions to contemporary architecture in Iran as well as his scholarly work in architectural studies and library design.

Among his most notable achievements is his role as a principal designer of the Tandis Jordan Complex (Brick Castle) in Tehran. In 1976, he collaborated with the late Yousef Shariatzadeh and Mohsen Mirheidar on the design of this architectural landmark. The project became renowned for its precise geometric proportions, innovative use of brickwork, and structural durability, making it one of the most celebrated examples of modern brick architecture in Tehran.

Razaghi also played a significant role in the design of the National Library of Iran. Working with Pirraz Consulting Engineers, he was part of the team that won the architectural competition for the new National Library building in 1994. His contribution to this major national project further established his reputation as a leading figure in Iranian architecture.

In addition to his architectural practice, Yadollah Razaghi has been actively involved in research and has authored numerous specialized articles on architecture and library planning. His work reflects a commitment to combining architectural innovation with cultural and educational development, leaving a lasting impact on Iran’s architectural landscape.
